Susette Turner brings more than 40 years of healthcare experience to Rooted In Her. Throughout her career, she has been committed to helping others by providing compassionate guidance, building trusted relationships, and advocating for quality care. She currently specializes in serving the senior community, helping older adults access the resources and support they need to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
As founder and Executive Director of Rooted In Her, Susette is dedicated to strengthening communities through leadership, collaboration, and service while creating opportunities that inspire women to connect, grow and creating opportunities that empower women to lead, serve, and leave a lasting legacy.

Chastity Parnell Claiborne, M.Ed, serves as Director of Rooted In Her, where she is committed to empowering women through education, leadership, and meaningful connection. With 20 years of experience in education, leadership, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL), she is passionate about helping individuals discover their strengths, build resilience, and lead with purpose.
As founder of Minds Imagined, LLC, Chastity develops leadership, educational, and community initiatives that create lasting impact. She believes that when women are equipped with the right support and opportunities, they can transform their lives, their families, and their communities.
